Alan Christopher Jones’ obituary, Family Legacy

A Devoted Husband Remembered

Alan was the dearly loved husband of Tina, and is also remembered with deep tenderness as the husband of the late Margaret Rose. Two marriages, both built on loyalty and love. A life in which devotion to his partner was a constant thread from beginning to end.

A Loving Father and Family Man

He is survived by his son Michael and his stepchildren Dionne, Natasha, Tamara, and Zita. All of whom he raised and embraced with the same dedication and warmth. For Alan, the title of stepfather was never a lesser one. He gave himself fully to every child in his family.

A Proud Grandfather to Eight

As Bampi, Alan held a role he wore with unmistakable pride. He was the devoted grandfather of Etoile, Amelie, Epernay, Charlotte, Harriet, Teegan, Isaac, and Oskar, eight grandchildren who each carry a piece of him forward.

He also had the joy of knowing his great-grandchildren, making Alan a man whose love stretched across four generations. That is a remarkable legacy in any life,  and in his, it was clearly the thing he treasured most.

Family Bonds That Lasted a Lifetime

Alan was the much-loved brother of Tess Davies, and is also remembered alongside his late brothers and sisters. The bonds of siblinghood shaped him, and Tess’s grief now mirrors the love they shared throughout their lives.

Remembering Alan Christopher Jones

Alan Jones lived 84 years and filled every one of them with family. Two devoted marriages, five children, eight grandchildren, great-grandchildren. A family tree whose roots run deep and whose branches reach far because of the man at its centre.

His sudden passing leaves a silence that will be felt in every family gathering, every quiet moment, and every space he once made warmer simply by being in it.
